Early civilizations used astronomical alignments in their architecture. Included are the Big Horn Medicine Wheel in Wyoming, Casa Grande and Peurco ruins in Arizona, Anasazi sun-watching stations in Chaco Canyon, Mexican and Maya structures. Some slides show photos of equinox and solstice alignments.
